GravityFit is at SCGS!
When your deep muscle system is strong, especially your core, your body has more power, agility, balance, and better all round stability and posture. Unfortunately, modern life and many types of exercise actually weaken these deep muscles. GravityFit is a revolutionary exercise and rehabilitation system that strengthens the deep muscles you need to live, heal and perform at your peak.

I had one of our Tura Beach ladies come to me for a lesson recently – Leslie is in her 70’s, loves her golf and plays off a 45 handicap. One of the first things Leslie told me at the start of her lesson was that she was experiencing back and neck pain during and after golf as she had been playing far more recently. I knew it was important to tread carefully while looking for ways I could take some strain off her back and neck by making changes to her technique, and if that also achieved a positive ball striking outcome in this session, then it would be a bonus.
I'm happy to say, the results speak for themselves! See the before and after videos below, and to read more, please click here

The 2017 Toyota Junior World Cup
by Lisa Newling | 3 July 2017
Last month (June 2017), I was very proud to have been selected as a Coach to represent the Australian Girls Team, along with Dean Kinney Coach/Manager. The talented young Australian team included Grace Kim, Stephanie Kyriacou and Isabelle Taylor and it was an amazing experience!
The 2017 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup was played at Chukyo Golf Club in Nagoya, Japan. It's the only junior golf championship in the world – 24 international teams qualified to participate and over 65 different national teams competed in six continents in order to compete for the honour as world champion. Our team did very well – Australia finished tied third with Italy. (The USA came first, Japan second.) The organisation of this event was very impressive; from the coordination of players, managers and coaches to transport, accommodation and meals. The Tournament events ran like clock work and our girls were wonderful representitives of Australia. The highlight of the trip has to be finishing with a medal in third place! Meeting the managers, coaches and players from all around the world was pretty awesome, too. |
This experience has been great for my coaching as working with such an elite group of players has been inspiration and I thank Golf Australia and Dean Kinney for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.
I'll certainly remember this event forever! Japan was a beautiful country to visit and the people were very friendly. Yes, I'd love to go back one day... |
