SCGS Junior Program

The SCGS Junior Program is designed to improve skill level and confidence, while having fun. The children learn swing technique, chipping, bunkers, putting, golf course etiquette and a basic understanding of golf rules. Our program runs in line with the NSW School Terms. The dates are listed below, along with the times for our Junior Competition. Our Sunday Junior competition is played of shortened holes approximately 200m long. We play 3, 6 & 9 hole Stableford Competitions.

Golf is great exercise and a very disciplined sport that teaches honesty, respect and good manners that continues into our every day life. You don't have to be a naturally sporty child to enjoy golf.

Junior Golf

	NEMOS: 3‐6 yrs Term 1 Dates: February 17th, 24th, March 3rd,10th, 17th, 24th, 31st. Cost: $30 per term Day: Wednesday Group 1: 3:30pm‐ 4pm Group 2: 4pm‐ 4:30pm Bookings are essential
	STARFISH: 7‐10 yrs Term 1 Dates : February, 17th, 24th ,March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th,31st. Cost: $50 per term Day: Wednesday Time: 4:30pm‐ 5:30 pm Bookings are essential
	WHALES: 11‐ 17 yrs Term 1 Dates: February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, March 7th, 14th, 21st. Cost: $50 per term Day: Sunday Time: 8:30am‐ 9:30am Bookings are essential
	Sunday Competition for all ages‐ Cost $2 Please be ready to tee off at your allocated time. Nemo's: 10am 3 holes Starfish: 10am 6 holes Whales:9:30 9 holes
